Great stay, just be mindful, the towels are pretty hard and the pillows do not hold their firmness so if you have back and neck issues this could be a issue. Bring a face towel because the ones at the hotel are pretty hard.

Our recent stay on April 16 th. was typical of our past stays. However the staff in the restaurant were especially welcoming and committed to insuring our experience was top notch. At dinner and breakfast the host and servers treated us in a wanner that clearly showed they appreciated our business and wanted us to return.

I’m a huge neat freak. So most places won’t ever meet my standard of cleanliness. That being said, I was disappointed to see some black stains in the shower area. Hotel was overall decent for the price. Staff was nice. We had to wait a little too long for our room. Check in was at 3 and we didn’t get our keys until almost 3:30. And the lobby was extremely warm. 7 is the best I could do.

The Crowne Plaza is very close to the airport and provides a shuttle with an excellent driver. The hotel staff are all so friendly, kind and very professional. I don't know how they do it with endless numbers of people checking in and out on a daily basis, but they do. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. A slightly noisy air conditioner, but not bad. You could easily control the room temperature. The restaurant menu was fair for the price point, I had a very tasty club sandwich. My husband had lentil soup that turned out to be delicious! Very tasty sangria (one red, one white) - nice sized and fair price. Shout out to the bartender, Nubia, who was so much fun! We did not expect much beyond a place to sleep before heading home, but we're very pleasantly surprised by our night at the Crowne Plaza.

The Crown plaza is located in close proximity to the airport which makes it beneficial to avoid alot of the Panama city traffic when catching flights in the morning. The property is quite comfortable, but a little dated when compared to hotels in town. The airport is very close , but the roads are designed so that it takes about 25 minutes for the hotel shuttle to get there so plan accordingly. There is a restaurant on site, as local restaurants are not in walking distance.
