By far the worst hotel in the Middle East I’ve stayed at.
Booked a room with breakfast and yet 2 mornings I was asked to show them ( while having breakfast) my booking to make sure breakfast was included as they couldn’t see it on their system. I asked to speak to the manager on the second time it happened as I hate being treated as a thief! Explained to him the situation as well aa coming the previous night into my room to find cleaning wasn’t done during the day ( knowing I was out of the room by 8am and didn’t return until 5.30pm)and had to chase twice in evening to finally get it done. He apologised and said he would give me better rate on my next booking, which I told him would never take place as you couldn’t pay me enough to go back there. They also say they have a gym for women available when actually it is just a tiny room with nothing in it but 3 treadmill and one bench. Furniture is room is super old and very used.

When checking in, there were 2 guest waiting with only one member of staff working , when it came to me there was an issue with my booking I was never told why but it took the one member of staff a number of phone calls to sort it out which took 15 minutes to sort out still with no explanation of why,
Then in the morning on check out , this time 3 guest waiting to check in or out and once again only one member of staff working as I needed to obtain a official tax receipt I waiting for a further 15 minutes but as I needed to be at a meeting and still waiting to be served I had to leave without the receipt, then only to find out I can’t download an official receipt online but that you have send email to request it
Either employ enough staff to man the reception check in desks or make sure you can download an official taxable receipt on line

I recently celebrated my birthday at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Alkhobar, and I couldn't have asked for a better venue for my special event! From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of fantastic, primarily thanks to the exceptional assistance of Mr. Imran. His attention to detail, professionalism, and hands-on approach made the entire process seamless and enjoyable.
Every aspect of the event, from the smallest details to the larger elements, was meticulously arranged. Mr. Imran's expertise and dedication ensured that everything went off without a hitch, allowing me to focus on enjoying the celebration with my friends and family. The venue itself is stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for any occasion. also ayad and ayoub serving breakfast is giving high quality customer service. Chef John and the whole team is very legit as my friends love the food way better taste than any other hotel in Alkhobar
I must also highlight the food, which was simply delicious! The variety and quality surpassed my expectations, leaving my guests raving about the culinary experience. It truly added to the overall success of the event.
After an unforgettable night of celebration, I was so pleased to retreat to my room, which was both cozy and spacious. The soft pillows and plush bed made for a wonderfully relaxing night, capping off a perfect birthday.
I wholeheartedly recommend Crowne Plaza Alkhobar for any events, whether they are intimate gatherings or grand celebrations. With outstanding service, beautiful surroundings, and excellent food, I’m confident that your experience will be just as memorable as mine. A well-deserved 5-star rating from me! Check-in experience was not good and was very much lower level as compared to the standard experience I have had in other Crowne Plaza hotels.
The lady checked-in me was not really behaving in a welcoming way!! I had to ask for an upgrade and my request was declined immediately - despite in my other Crowne Plaza hotels I have never to request for the upgrade!! The welcome amenities wasn’t offered as per the standard IHG system for Platinum members …. I have not felt welcomed despite that room cleaning, breakfast and other experiences were good but the initial impression I have had at check-in changed my feeling during this stay.
Hope I don’t face the same experience again

1- سيارة الأوتيل غير ملتزمة بالموعد والمكان وعدم المام السائق بالوصول الى التنفيذي في المطار وايضاًعدم معرفة استخدام اللوكيشن وتأخير ساعه لاستلامنا من المطار الى الأوتيل
2- اليوم الثاني طلبنا سيارة من الاوتيل لمعرض الظهران وكان الوقت 11:30 صباحاًسجلو الوقت مساءً
3- السيارة حضرت الصباح تأخير ساعة عن الموعد وكانت سيارة غير لائقة بمستوى فندق 5 نجوم هونداي مصدومة وغير نظيفة
4- مواقف الأوتيل سيئة وماكينات التكييف نازلة مما يؤدي الى ايقاف جزء من السيارة خارج الموقف لعدم الاصطدام بماكينة التكييف
5- ايضاً المواقف اقل من عدد السكان مما لا يتوفر موقف شاغر في بعض الايام مما نضطر للوقوف خارج الأوتيل وعند الدخول من مكان نزول السيارات لاستخدام المصعد يتم ذلك بالمرور من مكان تجمع مخلفات الأوتيل وأكياس النفايات للتوجه الى مصعد الموقف روائح كريهة جداً
5- اثاث الأوتيل غير نظيف ومتهالك حسب الصور المرفقة
التنظيف اليومي سيئ

واستمر الخطأ 4 ليالي طول فترة الإقامة
