On this trip my husband & I stayed at the Novatel Lakeside in Queenstown & The Intercontinenta,l Queens Street Auckland as well as the Crown Plaza Christchurch & we would definetly book Crown Plaza again. Of the three hotels this was the best. From check in to check out, ambience & great service. 10 out of 10. The only thing we had difficulty with was finding the hotel at ground level. Better signage would be helpful. We loved our stay.

This is a super hotel for visitors to stay in. It's in a great position for walking around town and is ideally situated for restaurants bars and entertainments.

This hotel was great. Centrally located with plenty of restaurants, pubs and attractions nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was super and the rooms were beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and great WiFi.

This was our first stay at Crowne Plaza Christchurch. The location is very central and allows you to wander around the Christchurch CBD, a lot of it rebuilt since the earthquake a decade ago. The hotel is new, modern in outlook and the staff are friendly. I have given CPChCh a star less for value because they charge you for making barista coffee at breakfast. This used to be the norm about a decade ago but most hotels (including IHGs) have moved on. Otherwise the hotel is highly recommended.

We recently stayed the the Crowne Plaza Christchurch for a couple of nights - the room was nice and comfortable and the position of the hotel was very good - easy walk to town and restaurants cafes etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel but don’t go for the breakfast at the hotel - I thought it was very average with not a very good selection and overpriced for what it provides.

All staff were very professional, and helpful. Everywhere was immaculately clean and tidy. The room had a great view of the park, was well resourced, beautifully designed , large with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was super with lots to choose from and the restaurant area was spacious with great views. I would highly recommend staying at the Crowne Plaza in Christchurch .

I would ask the hotel to have an operating hours for the gym. I was put in a room facing the gym. Any noise from the dumbbell throw on floor by customers is transferred into my room. It resulted poor quality in sleeping.
